Frequently Asked Questions
Before deciding on a tented solution, it is essential to ensure that you have a suitable site for your venue. We are happy to do site survey's but this could be subject to distance and a charge made accordingly.
Some commonly asked questions :
Q. How many guests can I accommodate ?
A. It depends on whether your guests will be seated or standing (approx figures)

Q. Do the marquees come complete with side walls ?
A. Yes - both window and solid sides
Q. Can the marquees be set up on hard surfaces ?
A. Our framed marquees, T span, S500 and S5000 Saddle spans can go virtually anywhere subject to survey, and being able to drill into the hard surface. We then make good afterwards.
Q.Will I need matting / carpeting?
A. It depends on the event and the condition of the grass. Most event organisers ask for matting or carpeting as it defines the area and adds that professional finish.
Q. What about heating ?
A. We recommend stand alone hot air blower heaters, with thermostat's. Depending on the size of marquees, we can offer different size heaters for hire.
Q. Do you hire toilets ?
A. No - but we can recommend companies that can provide one or a complete block of toilets.
Q. How many people can I seat around your tables ?
A. As a general rule 8 around a 5ft Round table and 10 around a 5ft6" Round table.
With 6-8 on a 6ft Trestle table.
Q. Can I decorate the marquee myself ?
A. Yes of course you can .We do however ask you to take care as the colour dye in some decorations can run on to the marquee fabric and can leave a permanent stain. Please don't use cellotape use electrical pvc tape, tiewraps or string. Please refer to section 7 of our terms & conditions. ALSO be careful when removing decorations, as last year we had marquee canopies slashed with a stanley knife.
Q. For a saturday or sunday hiring when typically will you set up ?
A. It depends on the size of the event but generally on a Thursday or Friday. However we try to be as flexible as we can and try to work around the customer.
Q. Can you recommend good caterers ?
A. Yes we can, whether your budget is big or small -check out our web links.
